Temporary Swimming Pool, Nacka, Sweden

25 m long, 13 m wide, 1.1–1.8 m deep
This temporary swimming pool, with a hypermodern, containerized water-treatment system, has all the competition equipment: starting blocks, lane markings, lane dividers and backstroke and false-start lines.

The pool is partially sectioned off with a permanent wall to allow for multiple activities in the one pool.

The pyramid-embossed pattern of our pool floors prevents slipping and reflects the light.

Background
The town of Nacka reached a decision to replace its deteriorating Näckenbad public pool. In the meantime, townspeople can access a replacement pool in a temporary structure built in 2018 next to the sports-center parking lot. The replacement pool will probably be dismantled when the new swim center is completed.
